The short version

jasse.pl does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We have nothing to set, nothing to ask permission for, and nothing to share with third parties from cookies.

This is intentional — we like things quiet.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. They're sometimes essential (for example, to keep you logged in), and sometimes used for tracking what you do across the web.

What we currently use

At the time of writing, jasse.pl uses:

No first-party cookies. We don't have an account system, so there's nothing to remember.
No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no anything like that).
No advertising cookies. We don't run ads.
No social-media tracking pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Pinterest Tag, no TikTok Pixel).

Third-party embeds

Some pages may load resources from external sources — for example, Google Fonts for typography. These services may set their own cookies or log basic technical information (such as your IP address) when their resources load. We chose Google Fonts because it does not use cookies on the fonts CSS endpoint, but if their practices change, the responsibility for those cookies sits with them. You can review their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

If we add cookies in the future

If we add anything that sets cookies (for example, basic analytics to understand which pages get read), we will:

Update this policy with the details
Add a clear consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set
Let you decline without losing access to the site
